I'm So Glad You're Here!

Hello, I'm Barbara Simpson Stroud, founder of Simpson's Angel, and I am passionate about creating beautiful, respectful, and personalized tributes/ decorations for your loved one. I lived many years Preston Hollow, Dallas with my late husband Jim Simpson, a successful Sales Rep for both Hunts and Heinz, and also the CEO of Dallas Insurance. I retired early from American Airlines as a Supervisor for AA.com.

After retiring, I earned my State License to open a childcare, named "Bauchie's Angels." I thoroughly enjoyed caring for the children for several years. Once my husband Jim fell ill, I retired from childcare to devote myself to him full-time until he passed in 2017.

In caring for Jim's gravesite at Sparkman Hillcrest Memorial in Dallas, I found a wonderful outlet for my creativity, style, and longstanding respect for the dignity of a final resting place - hence, “Simpson's Angel” was born. Now remarried, I live in Plano with my husband Dominic, and have several children and grandchildren we adore.

I divide my time between friends and family, and Simpson's Angel. I work closely with families to design decor that reflects the unique spirit of each individual.
